I love the McPherson County Humane Society. The cages were large and several of the cats were out of cages and being petted. The people that volunteer here really do care about their animals!
2 weeks ago I adopted the love of my life, Root Beer. He was a bit stand-offish at the shelter but after getting him home he is the most loveable, playful cat I have ever had! He is everything I was needing in a soul-mate! The volunteers were very patient with me as I made several visits to him and asked many questions. My family was so blessed to find our beloved Keegan (formerly Macaroni) here. The staff was friendly & so attentive to Keegan's needs as well s those of our family. The staff know their cats so well, that it was a love match from ththe very beginning. We thank the the VERY hardworking staff for letting us fall in love on our own without pressure.
