The Humane Society of Greater Miami is a limited admit, adoption guarantee facility dedicated to placing every dog and cat in our care into a loving home, and to promoting responsible pet ownership and spay/neuter programs. Adoption guarantee means that every animal that is admitted to our shelter is free from the threat of euthanasia for time, space, or treatable medical issues. We provide shelter, food, veterinary care, and plenty of TLC while the dogs and cats wait for their permanent home, no matter how long it takes.

The staff is very nice and understanding. Prices reasonable. More important is their patience they have with the animals.
I have adopted my pets from this org. for 25 years. My first cat came from there last location before moving. My Ashley was with us for 21 yrs. and Harry for 18 yrs. Now I have Gracie, who also came from this org. ALL have given our home sooo much love and joy. Please open your hearts and check out this wonderful facility.- Lisa
It's far... but great prices and people. My dogs didn't sound sad they were happy visiting them. Way better than going to the vets.
My little rescue has used humane society to help people and communities to keep the cat population down. They are wonderful to help and keep it affordable or free.
