RecommendedThey truly care about their guest animal residents by making sure to thoroughly vet the adopters. They are the voice of the animals. They do a great job finding the perfect forever home for the animals in their care!
I like their program where they transport kitties from south and give them chance to find perfect homes.
So grateful for the humane society for bringing lil frosty twinkletoes into our lives! It is SO apparent that all the workers and volunteers truly care about the animals there! Everyone was so friendly and super helpful! Would definitely recommend as a place to adopt from! 💕
The first girl that welcomed me wasn't very helpful but the next girl I talked to was wonderful and even stayed late to help me get the cat of my dreams!

Wonderful people who have the best interest of the animals at heart.
The best folks. Animals are very well cared for by employees and hundreds of dedicated volunteers. No one should feel bad about relinquishing an animal to this group of people. They will be adopted in time by others who will care for them.
I traveled across the width of VT from NH to see the dog I liked...and he is right here on the couch beside me. He is wonderful and every thing anyone could want in a doggie companion. Thank you so much for my dog, Mike (was Yogie)!
They were very patient with me while I looked for my perfect cat! Awesome tram to work with and made it super easy to adopt. We now have the most amazing black cat and everyday is a joy with him!
They adopted a cat out whose family was desperately searching for him. They refuse to get in touch with the family that adopted him so he can go back to his rightful family. SHAME ON THEM.
