We're a family business in operation since 1969, providing high quality plant material chosen to perform well in our harsh climate at reasonable prices. We grow a majority of the plants we sell, and have many mature specimens growing at our nursery site for customers to see. We offer expert advice on plant selection, design, and maintenance for your landscape.

It is a great place! We have been buying their trees and shrubs since 1972,
wonderful place and people! they make you feel welcome and always there to answer questions.
Been going to Huls Nursery since dad was there. The boys (men) are so helpful, courteous and kind. The merchandise is very healthy, especially what they personally grow. You know it will withstand the winters here. Read the literature on competitors, like big box and you'll find plants for max zone 5 or even 6 on display for perrineals. We are in zone 4-3. 100% recommended.

All the comments, though all positive, are understated. Guys, I stopped last spring to see if Ernie's kids were still running the place.
