If I could give less than 1 star I would. Hull has run our mall into the ground. I’ve had to close two stores in the past 2 1/2 years. We barely have 10 stores to shop from. It’s ridiculous. They won’t allow stores back in and won’t allow current stores to renew their lease or even negotiate a reasonable renting price. Yall need to get your act together.
Seems to be a company that purchases malls under the guise of maintaining them, when really their goal is to let them decline to the point of closure and sell the property for something else. If they buy your mall, your mall is already dead.
Our mall in New Bern NC was purchased by the Hull Story group a few ago…. I as an individual had high hopes that with the new ownership that things would shift for the positive… definitely not… JC Penny-a great anchor store closed-which looks bad for our mall-Michaels left-out Belk is very much in need of better merchandise-I guess Mr Hull Story is more into acquisitions than improvements..
