An Honest Roofer with Quality First Motto I sent a friend of mine to Hull Brothers. I had heard that they are the oldest roofer in LA, and have a reputation for doing high quality work. The owner, Chuck, went out to see my friend. She was basically interested in a quote on a new Roof. She told me that Chuck could have easily sold her a new roof, but instead told her she had 5 years left in the roof and recommended some maintenance her husband could easily do. All I could say was "WOW!"
Expensive Did a good job on the waterproof flat roof of our second-floor porch and the solid wood ceiling of our family room. The modified bitumen flat roof on top of the family room was not torch applied, but "stuck on" so afterward pieces were curling back off the roof, so I had to call them and they came back to heat apply them. They also left paint buckets in my driveway and nails in the driveway (fortunately I caught them before my car had a flat tire). It took 3 weeks of calling them for them to pick up the paint bucke... read more
