Update: Service was average. I’ve been coming here for 11 years now and I really do love this place. That said, my last couple visits in the restaurant felt a bit heavier — the food was much greasier and extra soy sauce was added to my shakeen chicken plate without me asking. Hughie's never disappoints. Always, always start with the grilled pork spring rolls. It only gets better from there. No bad entries and an excellent beer list.
Had a great birthday lunch. Victor the manager was very accomodating and provided recommendations. This place pays attention to its customers. Food is served hot and fast. Craft beers, appetizers like the crispy vietnamese egg rolls and our main dish shaken beef with the kale salad and fried rice are a must try. Glad I tried it before leaving Houston.
