What an incredibly rude woman. My son was told to come to the emergency room by his GI doctor, who wasn't available to see him for major abdominal pain. Ms. Hughes was the attending Emergency Room physician who was assigned to my son. Ms. Hughes condescended (before even examining my son), questioning how urgent the matter was. She conveyed that he should not be in the ER. His condition was not ER-worthy, he should be seeing a GI doctor for his symptoms. She said she didn't know what she could do for him.
