RecommendedAbsolutely an A#1 place with a wonderful, loving, caring staff that took excellent care of my Mom. Family atmosphere, fun activities, interesting programs, and good food! I have already referred one family and will continued to do so in the future!
We placed Mom in Hughes Home just as they were locking down due to COVID-19, so we were not able to go in with her. They are very conscientious about keeping their residents safe and healthy. The ladies who came out to take her in were angels sent from above. Our dad has been here almost a year after living with me and my family for 3.5 years. We hear so many horror stories about elder care so it was scary to find a place for him to live after I could no longer take care of his needs. The staff is so caring and helpful and Dad is well taken care of. My sisters and I know that he can be difficult so we are extra appreciative of the good care (and love!) that he receives at Hughes.
I called to speak to someone about employment . I had called ONCE before and get information and the person female I spoke to was extremely rude and it was completely unnecessary! If this is the type of people you have working there, I'd be really concerned on how they treat the elderly !
I love working at Hughes Home. It's been my home away from home. Working for the elderly in need has been challenging but it can't be helped. The folks living there need me. I will be forever thankful for this opportunity to help ease, guide and protect them in their home. This being their last stop before their ultimate demise let's make the best of it for all of them. My mother, Carol, has been in Hughes Home now for a little over a year and I have been extremely satisfied with the care she is receiving. When I go to visit her I am greeted warmly by the staff, who want to tell me about her and how she is doing. My mother is happy and loves the people who care for her. I wouldn't think of moving her anywhere else!
