I have used Hughes Brown for many years in my business. Jay and his staff have always been very responsive. Unlike other firms, I always get timely responses to my emails and phone calls. I highly recommend this law firm.
I paid them to perform a title search and to close on my house. They had little knowledge about the way Homestead and property tax is processed in Pontotoc County. They did not allow the sellers to pay any tax because they insufficiently researched and found that the property was tax exempt for 2017. Land roll had yet to be taken, and when it was: Homestead fell off, taxes for 2017 were owed, included the 6 months that it was under prior ownership.
