What a shame, I was in contact with these guys to replace an old surge protector/Voltage booster that they said they could not service. So they offered me a deal on a refurbished surge protector. Wow! We assumed our watchdog surge protector would not have been covered under warranty after close to 3 years. We ordered and replace the surge module after a horrible lightening strike next to our motorhome, which the watchdog saved from damage but it took the watchdog surge protection out! Within minutes of asking for help (via email) with installing the new module, these guys ask for our info on the product and have us a new unit in the mail today. Unbelievable! I added a PWD50EPOH Surge Protector to my 2020 Tiffin 40IH when I purchased it new in January 2020. Two weeks ago while sitting in my RV park in Arlington, Texas the transformers serving the RV park took a direct hit from lightning during a thunderstorm. After power was restored to the park, I discovered that my surge protector was dead. It was over five years old. I called to see if I could order a replacement female plug for my Power WatchDog, Model PWD50-EPO. I spoke with Ian, who asked me to email my address. Within two days, I had the replacement in hand. Great service—thank you, Ian!
Their voltage regulator saved my travel trailer from a significant power surge. If not for their unit between the plug and my trailer I would have had a very high repair bill for fried electronics. And when I called Hughes about the hit their autoformer took on my trailer’s behalf, they said send in the unit. They refurbished back to new order, no charge. Great company, exceptional customer service. Their product works great!
