I have been going to Dr. Donnell for about 10 years. He is very laid back and he takes the time needed for the visit. He wears jeans and talks like we were just talking among friends. I like him but he is very difficult to get an appointment with. Even a long term patient can’t get in for weeks or sometimes months. Wouldn't see my family for anything other than annual exams that had to be booked months in advance. Not even for a post ER follow up of a child. Loved to lecture us on non-medical topics. Treated me like I was uneducated. Used to listen and be thoughtful but became arrogant and dismissive of our concerns and preferences.
Been going to him for over 20 years. He's kind and very thorough and thoughful!
Dr. Donnell is a very rare physician: he listens. I've never felt rushed or had my input be dismissed. I've always felt he values me as a person and is truly interested in helping me in any way.
