After years chasing a diagnosis, and many, many different specialists, I found an amazing neurologist and was able to get a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. When this neuro retired, I was honestly devastated. It was so hard to find a specialist that was willing to not stop until things were solved or made better. I was worried I would go back to being a number and just shuffled through the system, as is so common nowadays.
