Either go to the location in Elkin, which I heard is better, or just go to Novant Health. They may charge $80 instead of $50, but I noticed they take much better care of you and they have an app where you can communicate with your doctor. I was seen by Dr. Candace Burcham. All went well until I had to pick up my medication. They sent it in to Wal-Mart 2 times, and apparently they never received anything in their systems and had to be called by the Doctors office to be told what I needed. My friend took her 11 month old baby here this morning because he had a 103.1 fever and drainage from a double ear infection. Dr. Hannah Beasley looked in both of his ears and said he was fine. After being told to check his ears again, she did and insisted that nothing was wrong. My friend took her baby to another doctor's office, where they confirmed that he had a double ear infection. I had a great experience at Hugh Chatham Urgent care in Dobson. I had a finger infection and was seen early Sunday morning by Carmen who was kind and quickly helped. I appreciated the early hours availability on Sunday. The infection didn’t seem to be getting better during the week so I called a few times and everyone was so caring and helpful at the front desk.
