I needed an expert who could weld cast iron to repair a one hundred-year-old Poco letterpress proofing press. MR Huggins did the job skillfully and quickly and reattached the crank handle that had been completely broken off. Thanks to this master welder, this piece of printing history is once again a functioning part of my shop at The Norlu Press.
I was thoroughly impressed by the experience, knowledge and skills demonstrated by Sam Huggins. His repair of a broken stabilizer bracket was phenomenal. I have a Nautilus multi exercise machine that they no longer make parts for. After 2 months of searching the internet for parts, I found Mr. Huggins. I called, and spoke with him for about 10 - 20 seconds before he asked "what you got". Afraid of getting turned away, I stated a piece of aluminum. He told me to come on over, I arrived with a CAM that has been chewed up by a chain from the weights. Within 2 hours the CAM was fixed like new. Sam Huggins did a awesome job repairing my aluminum engine block. I couldn't have asked for a better job done. My engine mounting bracket was broke out of the block. Sam welded, drilled, tapped, grinded and took a file to it, while telling me what and why he was doing what he was doing the whole time. It looks like it was from the factory.
