I absolutely love coming here to see Joe. The salon is clean and really beautiful with thriving plants everywhere and there is often a really sweet dog in the waiting area accepting pets and scratches. Of course, even more important is the service! I'm always happy with the cuts I get from Joe, he is super experienced and listens to what I want talking through what is best for my hair type. I’ve been going to Ash for over a decade! She gives the most incredible precision haircuts with a razor. She has such an eye for detail and shaping. As someone with extremely thick curly hair it’s so hard to find a stylist that understands my hair. She does an incredible shag on me that I get compliments all the time. I moved away from Portland but I literally drive 8hrs so ash can still cut my hair because I could never trust anyone else. I couldn’t recommend her more.
Hug is great, but this review is specifically for Ash. Ash has cut my hair for over a decade. Great rock n roll razor cuts or anything you could want. Always a pleasure to sit in her chair. I’m also convinced she’s a wizard.
Ash Bumpus-Martin has been my go-to hair stylist for 4-5 years now and I've never considered going to anyone else. Not only is she an expert in her field, she is also a masterful conversationalist who truly listens to understand and makes you feel comfortable at all points in the service. It's hard to find hair stylists who you can trust, but with Ash, I have always walked away with a cut/color I'm not just okay with but truly thrilled with.
