We love Huey Magoos and typically eat here, at this location, once a week. We’ve never had a bad experience until tonight. We were exhausted from a long week and did a mobile order. My husband went to the restaurant and they said they were “working on it”. People were coming in and out, picking up their take out, but my husband was still waiting. First and last visit. Food took forever and wasn't worth it
My chicken was a little soggy but the fries were good but otherwise okay
The food is tasty (albeit pricey...especially paying $1 for one sauce) but again another restaurant wanting us to subsidize employee pay via tipping pressure. And I’m happy to tip for good table service (which isn't provided here), but for a simple takeout order, customers really shouldn’t even be presented with a tip screen. With today’s menu prices, restaurants should be paying employees fairly instead of putting that expectation on customers. Tip prompts in most cases is greed and shouldn't be supported.
