I had a terrible experience at this “store.” I came in a few days ago and was not happyWhite kid with bleached blonde hair ignored me when I walked in and said hi, and that’s not even the worst of it. Out of all the places in Clayton I’ve been to, this is by far the worst. Not only did I get ignore, nobody seemed to know where the Silicone Grease was for my home project. When I had enough of this place, a young man with a blue shirt seemed to be in his own world. Ridiculous. Thanks for nothing.

It’s great to have a local hardware store in Clayton. Sometimes customer service gets lost in the national big box stores & it’s nice to deal with what still feels like a small town store- that try’s to win. Since moving here I have had a couple of interactions with the manager, Dillion, & appreciate his attention to detail when I needed “truck load deliveries” of yard supplies.They simply try harder & he leads his team by example.

Here’s a polished version of your review that stays factual and focused on your experience: I had a very disappointing experience with Hudson’s Hardware & Outdoor Equipment. I was charged $437 to repair my lawnmower, and when I picked it up, it shut off almost immediately after I started it. I didn’t even make it out of the parking lot before it stopped running.
