I have been a member of HVCU for more than 10yrs. I came in today at HVCU Brewster Branch to change my small denominations ($20) to large denominations ($100). I was told by the teller that they can’t do it because they don’t have enough $100 bills. The teller told me that they only have $20 bills and not even $50 bills. I bank at a few institutions and HVCU does a great job, you get the benefits of a credit union, I’ve never had any issues with fraud over ~20 years, decent rates and great staff. I’ve worked with Stephen recently and he is a personable and knowledgeable. The only folks I’ve met who have a problem with the branch are miserable people.

I’ve been going to the Carmel location of HVCU for probably close to 15 years now. And while I tend to favor the Carmel location for the size of the branch and the drive thru banking, the Brewster location also has a lot of great attributes. To start, all of the employees are phenomenal. If you stop in often enough, you’ll find yourself forming a close rapport.
