Don't Go There – This place was awful for so many different reasons. It took a long time for a host to appear to seat us. I wanted to order an extra dish to split with my friend. I was told that I would be charged for two dishes if I wanted the pancakes split beforehand. In addition, they brought my friend the wrong dish, didn't apologize and it took at least a half an hour till the new dish arrived. Save your money and time, go someplace else.

Great Neighborhood Restaurant – I cannot say enough good things about the restaurant Hudson Place on Third Avenue at 36th Street. This is a quiet neighborhood restaurant that is also fun and hip. The meals are excellent, and there is often a rich variety of choices on the specials menu. Its always a pleasure to visit Hudson Place, and I recommend it heartily.

great time – I was recently introduced to Hudson Place and I have to say that it is one of the best restaurants that I have been to. The restaurant is good for a small table and a large group of people.

Delicious food, great atmosphere – I was recently introduced to this place by a friend, and I have to say that it is now one of my favorites. The food is just delicious--there are large portions and they are very reasonably priced. I recommend the Maryland crab cakes, fried calamari, and the roasted cornish hen, although last week I had the lobster with ravioli and baby spinach and truffle oil and it was also excellent. Neighborhood Gem – A true neighborhood gem. For almost two decades, Hudson Place has been one of my New York eats secret. This place 'harbors' excellent food, prepared with observation to detail, and although a bistro, Hudson Place boasts the best seafood in the neighborhood. Fairly good restaurant Hudson Place is a pleasant restaurant to eat in, with a very helpful waitstaff. It isn't that expensive. The price for an average entree ranges from $12-20 and includes anywhere from salads and pastas to Black Angus steaks. The lighting is a little dark, but makes the atmosphere calm and pleasant. The only thing to watch out for is when ordering to go or delivery. For some reason, they are less careful about how they handle the food and are more apt to mistakes.
