I have my blood drawn at least once a year. Years ago, I started rating the slight pain I felt when the needle was inserted. (I have a tendency to get sick and faint around needles since before school, I'm 68 and still have this problem) I told Olivia (I believe her name was) that I rate my blood draws and what can happen if she screws up and has to poke me more then once. Have been seeing Lincoln Likness for many years. He was the first DO to suggest that I needed a full knee replacement. After selecting a surgeon he advised me on the high success rate of that surgeon - very reassuring. I have been to Dr. L for hip issues in the last 2.5 years. He recommended an injection which solved my issues for 23 months! Wonderful! He’s easy to talk to, will give you a range of options and wants you to be a full participant in your health care.
