Amazing place. Everyone here kicked me into shape and made me realize my life was worth saving. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for everyone at Hudson. The staff is amazing and they get you through even when you want to quit. Thank you Hudson for giving me the life I deserve!!
Hudson was pretty good. From the techs,nurses,most counselors and kitchen workers. However,don't expect much if you get their "head counselor",Heather. In two weeks,I spoke to her twice(briefly). She was there a short time five days a week and was quite unprofessional. Even the other counselors seemed to be happy on her days off. I have no ax to grind,she is just a very poor leader. I was there almost 10 years ago and I have been clean every since. This place truly saved my life. Now I have the honor and the privilege of being an employee there. There is no place in the world I would rather be! Thank you Hudson for doing what you do for "us"
You have to want it, and if you do...Hudson is the place to go. My experience there was pleasant aside from some rules, but rules are rules and they are in place for a reason. My advice to anyone who is considering rehab, listen to the counselors and follow their advice. You're not gonna get the help you need by clicking up with the other addicts in there...of course socialize but remember why you are there. Recovery and healing takes time.
