Overpriced Housing, Fraudulent Management – After escaping the city for a winter I moved in to my girlfriends apartment here. Firstly we went to the management office to add me to the lease, they told us there wasn't a reason to but had me fill out the paperwork. BEWARE of Hudson Crossing... – Warning, Hudson Crossing is a trap. They raised my rent by 24%-30% (1 year lease/2 year lease) after the first year. The leasing agent is very misleading and will say anything to get you to sign a lease. She lied about how much the rent would increase after the first year (she said no more than $50-100), she lied and said you could bring guests to the gym, and she did not disclose to me that although my apartment is rent stabilized, the legal registered rent is over $5,200 on a STUDIO I was pay... read more

STEER CLEAR OF HUDSON CROSSING – I have lived in nearly a dozen different apartment buildings in the city and none of them have been so poorly managed as Hudson Crossing. My requests for basic maintenance in my apartment went unattended to right up until I demanded to be released from my lease (they wanted three months rent as a termination fee!). Nice apartment but there are bedbugs – Pretty decent apartments for midtown Manhattan. Concierge staff is wonderful. Management is not. I had never seen a bedbug before, but apparently management does not see fit to tell residents there is a problem. I would think that when a resident reports bedbugs, and that said resident informed staff that over $1200 worth of linens were disposed of because of said bedbugs, management would take action.
