At my initial visit I told Dr John Wang of pain in my right leg and an inability to walk more than 5 minutes. I also mentioned a burning in my left buttock, but my major concern was my right leg. I purchased the $15,000 12-week program to address the leg problem understanding the outcome was uncertain. At each session I would point to the painful area on my right leg and it was treated. After 12 weeks, the right leg pain persisted. At my last meeting with Dr. John, he apologized 3 times saying it was a "miscommunication" and... read more
Because I am only 37 I was told that I haven’t been alive long enough to “accumulate” the $15,000 needed for his “ rejuvenating” service. Only spent not even a complete 5 minutes with me. Horrible Dr only after money. And the funny thing is if he would have even acted like he cared and I was worth his time I would of been more interested in his “services” and my GF could of helped me pay.
I have had serious back problems since 2010 when I was paralyzed from an AVM in my spinal chord. I had surgery at that time by another doc. and was able to walk again.Over the last 12 years my condition deteriorated and I had little to no mobility. I moved to Fla. and was referred to Dr.Wang and I must say that became a true blessing. My first visit I was checked in my the most friendly competition staff. I met with Dr.Wang and he had reviewed my chart and had a clear understanding of my condition. He took just over an hour ... read more
All of the stellar reviews of Dr. Wang are right on point. A skilled neurosurgeon with a genuine compassion for those he treats. I feel fortunate to have been in his care for my cervical spine surgery and would recommend his great skill set to anyone seeking care for themselves or a family member.
I had an L4-L5 lumbar fusion and dissection of a synovial cyst that was diagnosed by MRI ordered by the orthopedist I had been seeing for lower back pain for 9 months. I cannot say enough about the attention and care I received. Dr. Wang was so engaging, unrushed, and patient - explaining my condition and options thoroughly. I used Dr. Wang’s online portal to pose questions a few days after my initial visit. Surprisingly, he personally telephoned me and suggested I come in that afternoon (without appointment) so that we coul... read more
I recently had an epidural shot for pain from spinal stenosis and a lumbar injury 7 months earlier and was reluctant because of the unknown. It was a bit hard to go through to get the pain meds in and to work but once that took over, the actual cortizone shot into my spine went painless and without issue. I am very pleased with the results and the high degree of professionalism by Dr. Wuan Wang and Dr. Bonnie Wang and how comfortable they make you feel when all you are experiencing is anxiety. I would highly recommend this p... read more
Dr Wang did my back surgery in 2016 at Carle in Urbana IL. Not only is he brilliant but he is the most compassionate, caring physician there is. I felt in such capable hands from my first visit. I was very sad when I heard he was leaving to go to Sarasota. I’ll be visiting Sarasota if I ever need MY Neurosurgeon again.
Dr. Wang has a wonderful bedside manner, is compassionate and kind. He is knowledgeable, smart, and communicates his findings with patience and in a way that is easy to understand. I am never rushed through my appointment. His nurse practitioner, Jizelle, is also a very gifted and kind person. The office environment is clean and friendly.
Awesome doctor, fully explains the procedure to his patients. Weighs all possible information. Uses D7 omaging to give best results.
