I called HSS to make an appointment, and the entire process was frustrating. I was told that I needed to walk through the door with my previous X-rays in hand or the doctor would not see me. My question is: why can’t the office request the imaging directly from the facility that already has it? What I’m noticing more and more with medical offices today is that the patient is expected to do all the footwork. You’re honestly better off going to urgent care. I was recommended this place by multiple people because of the “world-renowned” reputation, so I expected a much higher level of professionalism. I made an appointment three days in advance for a fractured foot. After booking, I even called to confirm the appointment and asked to be added to the waitlist in case anything opened sooner. Doctor Blaine, PA. Samantha and his staff were great, they repaired my badly torn rotator cuff and got me back to where I was before the injury. Highly recommended.
