Am here right now with my Mother. If you have another choice, please don’t come to St. Vincent Hospital. They are horribly understaffed. Want to get your meds post surgery on time? Forget it. They don’t care if you hyperventilate from the pain. My Mother was crying out for help and someone came by and shut the door. I walked by a patient crying out for help and didn’t see anyone respond. Too much to share. Horrible hospital experience the couple times I been here. Expressed did not want a certain service or test & they still forced the service against permission. This hospital does a lot of "covering up" errors they make and leave out important information in their clincal notes. Higher up staff go thru the notes removing information they feel can be used against them. Hospital also did not bill my secondary insurance or 3rd insurance in a timely manner then continue to send bills saying im responsible for a... read more

In July of 2025 , my best friends Father was admitted to this hospital on the 9th floor. The nursing staff seemed okay at first sight but after a few hours of being there they are the most confused,non caring people I seen in a professional position. Had to ask numerous times for help with her Father , half the time they would come in when the help button was pushed but only said they would be right back and not come back until we went out to the nursing station to ask for help. Absolutely terrible experience on 2 seperate occasions. In 2024, my wife had a procedure, prior to surgery the nurse mis-read the pregnancy test, went through with surgery (stomach), afterwards we were told by the surgeon we were pregnant after trying for over 2 years and a few weeks later there was a miscarriage due to complications of the surgery.
