Wish I could give them 0 stars. Dr. Sri Patchala’s office screwed up royally (and very rude staff- except for Cathy, she was very sweet), possibly delaying a patient’s care and decided to hide the fact that he bills separately from the office (I would’ve gotten a surprise bill after the visit if I wouldn’t have advocated for myself and double checked with my insurance). They tell you to show up 20 minutes early for an 11:45 MRI appointment... It's 12:45 I'm still in the waiting area and nobody has even said a word to me or extended any kind of courtesy to say we are running late. Not only that they don't answer phones apparently in that department.

My father-in-law was admitted to the ICU at HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital with heart failure and passed away within five days. What our family experienced during that time was deeply upsetting—not because of the outcome, but because of how little was communicated to us along the way. Place is filthy, patients being forced to use dirty linen carts as bedside tables. Open treatment in ER halls, no privacy or regard for HIPAA. I now know what's wrong with half their patients and watched a dr ask for earplugs due to a loud patient with a head injury. Yet he couldn't be bothered to hear or treat him like a human. ER lobby is full of dirt, debris, food crumbs, several weeks worth of dust bunnies under chairs. Bathrooms not suitable or clean for patients let alone visitors. #mrs420ish.... This hospital treated me for an injured foot last year around July and did an excellent job of stitching my wound as they acknowledged safety standards for treating a pregnant woman. However, I returned to this same hospital Last month on March 18 to be seen for extreme labor pains, and the Emergency room doctor failed to do any ultrasound checks/x-ray exams/etc on my body due to the fact the treating physician accused me of being a "chronic marijuana smoker".
