Went to the ER after visiting Urgent Care. They informed me to go straight to the ER at St. Elizabeth's. They included a stack of notes and informed me to give those to the Doctor. He said, "I don't need to see any of that, I'll do my own tests." -- This should have been enough of a red flag. -- I was administered a CT Scan with Contrast. Spent a few hours later waiting on the results. The doctor said he would recommend a colonoscopy and to 'eat a high nutritious diet." - Mind you this was to address 4 months of weight loss ... read more

Had to make an ER visit at night due to severe pain and vomiting. They checked me in and had to use ultrasound to place my IV since my veins were hard to find. I was really glad they did—it saved me from being poked a bunch while I was already in pain. They Got me in for a CT scan and got me a room. It wasn't the fastest but I know they had other patients besides me. Everyone was super nice to me and got me extra pain meds and water like I requested. I felt heard and well taken care of. The hospital diagnosed me with inflamed colon. I c/o pain/irritation, nausea and vomiting, and inability to keep food down and lack of appetite. He sends me home with orders to take colace and miralax 3x/day for 2days. Completely irritated was me. Let’s address the fact that he never looked at me like physically looked at the area to see if it’s swollen or discolored. Barely assessed lung sounds.
