The emergency room is a hot mess. Waited for over an hour before getting back to get any help. My wife is suffering from appendicitis and we certainly chose the wrong hospital to go to.

Went to the ER after visiting Urgent Care. They informed me to go straight to the ER at St. Elizabeth's. They included a stack of notes and informed me to give those to the Doctor. He said, "I don't need to see any of that, I'll do my own tests." -- This should have been enough of a red flag. -- I was administered a CT Scan with Contrast. Spent a few hours later waiting on the results. The doctor said he would recommend a colonoscopy and to 'eat a high nutritious diet." - Mind you this was to address 4 months of weight loss ... read more
