The staff is here is so friendly! I came in with severe anxiety about a medical issue and felt nothing but compassion from every member of staff I encountered. My wait time was minimal and I left feeling like I had nothing to worry about.
Went there because I was running a fever. Had a receptionist check me in and then was asked about whether I’d been checked in again by another employee about five minutes later. They are usually quick and helpful and polite. They asked me to wait in the room and I waited for twenty minutes and I watched them bring another patient who came in behind me, and help them. I have been an HSHS patient for my entire life and have normally trusted them with all of my care. I recently had been sick for a few days and been having to call out of work. (I had a fever for over 3 days by the time I went there) I went to the walk in clinic because my doctor had no appointments. While they got me in quickly and they were polite and friendly, they virtually did nothing to check on my condition, offered me no medicine and told me that it was “likely the common cold”- when I didn’t even have cold symptoms. ... read more
