Totally awful, wait time is excessive, over an hour. People were leaving it was taking so long.
If you have medicaid they refuse you. The receptionist did not know what she was doing and was rude and told me you billed your insurance for your physical and not your employer yes employers don't pay for you to get a physical or TB that is what insurance is for. The nurse was also rude about me just getting a one step TB. The doctor was friendly. They charged me for an office visit when all I needed was the shot did not need to see a doctor when all she did was check my breathing. I was not happy. They told me again they c... read more
Dr. Townsend is, without question, the worst physician I have ever encountered. I came in seeking help for severe back pain (never once asking for medication), yet he immediately treated me like a drug-seeker, spoke down to me, and dismissed my symptoms. To add insult to injury, he literally followed me to the front desk to “make sure” I paid for the appointment—behavior I’ve never experienced from any other doctor. They would not see my grandson do to having the wrong insurance turned my 5month old grandson away if they don't take his insurance they should post that on line or on the door
Terrible experience. My PCP refused a followed up appointment after an ER visit following an auto wreck (that was not my fault). The front desk guy told me they would not see me since I had a PCP. Then proceeded to ask if I was "just looking for some pain pills or something". Completely out of line in my opinion. I will be contacting HSHS administration about this & thw fact my PCP denied an appointment then the nurse acted annoyed and put out when I insisted on scheduling an appointment after. 4th phone call.
