This bank used to have an amazing team but HSBC decided to make life miserable for long time staff so the new hires don't know the customers (and seem to think it's their job to be as rude as possible — hello, your actual job is customer service because no-one needs to bank with you otherwise). DO NOT GO TO THIS BANK. This bank allowed my aunt to clear out my father's possessions in his safety deposit box without contacting him to ask for his consent while he was mentally sound because she had POA, yet now that I have POA and he is cognitively impaired, they have forced my now very frail father and I to jump through hundreds of hoops just to pay for his home support and groceries.
