I have had ADT before and the business mindset is that of a larger cooperation. ADT did not ensure my safety or treasure my business. I was a loyal customer for 3 years before I had to find another company. I would literally have to plan a day out of my busy schedule if I needed any help from them. I sat on hold for up to an hour one time and the number of times I have been transferred was unimaginable. I felt more like I was just another number and not a true customer. I had the worst experience with this company. I called them out to service my home security system when they told me that I needed a brand new system for upwards of $500. I declined and had the ADT folks come out and fix my battery for only $35. Then I received a bill in the mail for monthly monitoring from HSA--a service I did not sign up for! When I called the office and asked why I had received a bill, the "gentleman" on the phone hung up on me! I called back where he curtly told me that "it would be taken care of". We'll... read more
