I live in central village apartments and these people are the worst people I have ever dealt with. When I first applied I told them my circumstances and that I get weekly pay. At first they denied my application because they made a mistake calculating my eligibility and at first didn’t want to fix the wrong. They said I was $50 short for meeting the requirements though I was eligible and met the criteria. I live in an HRM property and absolutely love being here. I can’t imagine living any where else. I have made some great friends who also live here and love spending time with them just sitting out among the beautiful gardens and visiting. Kathy, the manager, is the very best! Her office is always open to residents for any big or small concern or to just stop by and say hi. This is much more than an apartment complex, it’s HOME.
I cannot say enough positive things gs about the community of Cottage Villas, I have lived here for 11 years and find the people here to be loving and supportive whether they are donating coats and blankets to the homeless or baking treats of love and support for our first responders in their time of grief These are just a couple of our ongoing projects to help those around us
Always construction, bad management and maintenance.
Terrible ownership, no communication from the general manager. They are only interested in their money not the people who rent from them. My mother has been a resident for over 15 years. When she was in declining health I notified the building manager that we would be going to a month to month lease after mom's yearly lease was up. Mom passed away with just 2 days left on her year lease and the manager Kathy insisted that we still owed them for 60 days rent because we had to give 60 days notice.
