The triage nurses were terribly rude. Joking about how I was pacing in the er “why do they always do that” she said. (I had a massive headache and couldn’t sit still.) I went to this hospital knowing that I clearly had kidney infection symptoms, and I was worried about developing sepsis because it happened in the past and it can be life threatening. I got there at 9am and they kept me there until about 3-4pm. A medical student came and checked my back pain, and she made a gesture like she believed me. If I could give zero stars, I would. We came to this ER in the middle of the night because my husband was experiencing severe, unexplained pain — so intense that he was actively vomiting and writhing in distress. Despite the waiting room being nearly empty (no more than 3–4 patients), we were forced to sit through registration and paperwork while staff watched him suffer.
