RecommendedAlex does a WONDERFUL job with our little boy! she is so patient and very loving to him. He is always so excited to come to speech to see her every week. She has helped him improve his vocabulary SO much and we are very blessed to have her in his life!!
After years of aides that irritated my skin and weren't appropriate for me, I scheduled an appointment with Anne. She has done more for me than any audiologist ever before. I finally have the equipment and materials that I need to improve my life and help me keep up with my son and everyone else I encounter. Anne seemed to truly care and was knowledgeable in ways no other audiologist had been before. Sadly I have to update my review to reflect how disappointed I am in this organization. My daughter received services here for 6 years. They have under-appreciated and undervalued their staff and as a result they have no speech dept left. What a sad legacy for Katie's House and the HSDC. Jill King was a big loss for your agency. I hope the board and the HSDC strongly consider making some radical changes to top management. We will not be back and as a healthcare worker myself will no longer recommend this agency. This place was wonderful, I came to them because my daughter & myself are very passionate about learning ASL and we couldn't find any events or resources, they were so kind, they signed slow for me (I'm a beginner), they didn't make me feel bad for being such a beginner, & i felt amazing when I left. I do wish they had enough funding to offer more though, that's not really on them, with all of the taxes we pay, this center should really be able to afford to teach free or discounted classes, the more people that learn, Deaf o... read more
