Last tax year we lived in an apartment. I will not even given them a star - they deserve to be out of business. I had them assist with doing my taxes online and I was billed back by the *** for over $1,300.00. This is all bad enough, but this has to be the worst, worst, worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. I have now had 7 cases numbers (all escalated, what a joke) and every time I call, I get a new case number. I have probably wasted 10 hours of phone time dealing with total incompetency. I worked for them until 4-20-2023, and I informed the boss(franchise owner) about workplace bullying. He then told the person I was complaining about! She screamed at me and kept trying to call me. He NEVER even talked to the victims. He did this twice! I thought as an office manager that I had to go to him. I couldn't take the fall out and quit. This place is in ************* *********. Be aware!! Stay away!

I scheduled an appointment for filing with a pro. She didn't know how to file a ****b. They were never up front about their fees until the work was done. $613 was the final bill.

This branch of HR Block should have their tax number pulled! My 85 yr old Dad just needed his state tax filed - federal already done - and they said they could not legally file the state without refilling the federal, which is a lie and fraud on their part. Charged my dad $300 to file an EZ form and State tax. My dad got a letter from the *** stating that the second filing was wrong, and that he owed money, because they entered the wrong standard deduction amount. 5 months later, and after LOSING my dads forms, they still ha... read more

Horrible service, NO Communication. Taxes Files without my approval online. Never heard back from the agent filing my taxes when I asked the piece of mind be added. Spent 5 days trying to get in touch with someone after they promised to respond - No response. Sent messages thru the portal - no response. Spent 3 hours on the phone being transferred around to different departments with no resolution. I asked for the piece of mind coverage- never got it. Never approved my taxes that were sent directly to the Federal / State. I ... read more

Very poor customer care- unreliable tax preparation people. No fixed price sheet or any description of services provided. I expect people to know their jobs and not have to call in any help from others.

I set up a virtual appointment with this H&R Block for Saturday 15, 2023. I chose this company because they advertised 85$ tax preparation on ******* So I was on my computer waiting for the zoom appointment to start. 30 minutes go by, I finally call the office and ask for ****** (tax preparer assigned to me) to find out whats up. I was told the computers were down for a while, and thats why she didnt make the appointment - and then another customer arrived early so she had to take care of them.
