I had a wonderful experience at H&R Block. I use them years ago and the experience was not at all what I would refer to as enjoyable back then. Very cold in reference to the responses to my questions back then, but the lady I dealt with at Main Street on this occasion, her name is Sandra was an absolute Gem. I will be going to see her for my 2024 taxes and just like a hairdresser I will follow her to where she goes and use her only. UPDATE: They did find our taxes and file them; we were also given a free voucher for our taxes this year. We did use as our taxes are not complicated and I like to give the benefit of the doubt. When we went in no one knew what the voucher was. So we waited for them to ask around then call someone who knew(at least 20-30 mins). I think this place has a very high turnover, which I'm sure is great for people starting out in this industry to gain experience each year during this busy season. Went in 7 days ago for a drop off to get 3 years done. She took my file and said come back tomorrow. Turns out she works mondays and Fridays so I had to wait 5 days.. just to be told their systems were down friday and I'd have to wait until Monday (7 days today).. now I'm told they did nothing to fix their systems and I might have to wait until Friday (two total weeks to start my taxes and pay $450 to be dragged down the street) last time I ever try doing business here (called around 6 other h&r locations in other towns near... read more
