If you moved from Québec to Ontario before December 31st, Come here for real help. Had a GREAT experience doing somewhat difficult taxes. The staff was amazing, fun and professional. Jeff did our taxes and there was a Québec tax specialist there also to navigate the system. WoW! If you need Québec taxes done... they know how to do it right. I usually always go to this location and have never had an issue, either with drop-off or appointments. Unfortunately this year was different, the tax experts are always great, but the front desk reps were absolutely terrible, the 2 women working today April 30/25 between the times of 2p-5p honestly not too sound rude but didn't know what they were doing and couldn't even explain anything. I understand the language barrier, but when dealing with people it shouldn't be. They never ask if I was getting a instant return and mad... read more

I had a wonderful experience at H&R Block. I use them years ago and the experience was not at all what I would refer to as enjoyable back then. Very cold in reference to the responses to my questions back then, but the lady I dealt with at Main Street on this occasion, her name is Sandra was an absolute Gem. I will be going to see her for my 2024 taxes and just like a hairdresser I will follow her to where she goes and use her only. UPDATE: They did find our taxes and file them; we were also given a free voucher for our taxes this year. We did use as our taxes are not complicated and I like to give the benefit of the doubt. When we went in no one knew what the voucher was. So we waited for them to ask around then call someone who knew(at least 20-30 mins). I think this place has a very high turnover, which I'm sure is great for people starting out in this industry to gain experience each year during this busy season.
