Paid to have my 2021 taxes done by this company - ended up owing close to $1,100 dollars which we expected but we paid for peace of mind (you know that great thing they say if they make a mistake they'll pay the *** on your behalf?) turns out that's a scam - they made a mistake on my taxes we owed an additional $400+ dollars and they refused to cover it. h&r block filed my taxes in ************ ** in march under the wrong ss number and took me through paperwork and multiple trips back and forth to the office, they finally mailed my taxes in under the correct info and told me everything would be free of charge, my state taxes was refunded to their meta bank account and they are saying they don't have it and will not deposit my refund or return my calls, i have no idea whats going on with my federal
H&R Block made mistakes on my return that caused me to be audited. I proactively recognized it and tried to have them address it. I went through 3 different tax professionals--none of whom could resolve my issue and all of whom went unresponsive for long periods of time despite repeated efforts. I even purchased the "Peace of Mind." While they ultimately refunded my money after a 6 month ordeal they did not resolve the issue nor did they cover the *** expenses i endured to resolve it. Experience with H&R Block has been terrible from a Tax filing and subsequent customer ********************. They are unable to file a simple W2 tax return, sold me the idea that Peace of Mind covers all aspects if any IRS issues surface. Theyre the Worst!!! They Messed up my taxes so bad. & even gave me 2 strangers tax info! with there social #'s
H+R block forgot to add documents to my tax return that I had provided and then they had to submit an amended return. I've been waiting 6 weeks for my return now and H+R Block is now closed of no assistance. Each time we have used them it seems like the people working there aren't really sure about what they're talking about. It would be really reassuring to ask a tax expert a tax question and then not have to go look it up or ask for help

My husband and I have used the Emerald ******* for years as a way to supplement during Christmas time. This year, when we went to go pay it off, we had an unacceptable amount of struggle. To begin, my husband tried calling to pay it off and the automated system would not allow us to pay it. Then, when he got in touch with a person, they would not allow him to.
