I write this in 2025, regarding my 2022 taxes. H&R block royally screwed up my 2022 taxes leading me into a 3 year battle with the IRS. The "manager" is the one who helped me with me ammended return for 2022 which was, once again, incorrect. Despite expressing my concern that the amount she told me I owed and the amount she printed out were different I was assured by this manager and her supervisor that my taxes were done correctly. I was having trouble logging into the mobile app and Lataya Groomes helped me from beginning to end she and another lady I believe that was the site manager there made my experience 1000% better thank you for caring 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
It cost us just as much as a private accountant and they failed to set up direct deposit, even though I entered the information into their portal and asked multiple times. Also almost forgot to include our child care deductions. Now we wonder what else they forgot. We were in a pinch this year but will absolutely not go back!
