The receptionist was kind and friendly and welcoming, Susan, our tax advisor, was also kind, but man… it was infuriating. She talked in circles and didn’t explain anything for us, couldn’t break down how to set up our taxes more effectively to prevent owing next year- and at one point, while we pulled up the info on our MacBook laptop, she said she doesn’t know how to use laptops… my wife was on paid leave for our son being born, and she asked “what is paid leave?” While she is probably a very nice person, Susan was not, in ... read more
H&R Block is the BIGGEST waste of money. They are not upfront about the cost, they do not assist at all after your taxes are filed from the payment perspective. Their staff at this particular location is extremely aloof and do not have their shit together at all whatsoever. Terrible experience and would absolutely not recommend. Do not waste your money. They wont tell you how much it'll be and if they do they'll be off by about 100 bucks.Then tell you they werent the ones who told you that even though they for sure were. The... read more
