Unfortunately, my family's taxes were filed incorrectly and once we were issued a penalty by the IRS I contacted H&R block just to get an understanding of why I owed / why it was late. At first, the employee was confused and thought that I should have received a return. I let them know that I did not and that I submitted payment for the year this return was done. Anyone not using Kathy Folks with H&R block is missing out of money and the chance to deal one the best in the business.

I basically paid $200-300 to get my taxes done incorrectly, despite being constantly assured that it was correct. I was only able to prove it was incorrect after returning home and basically doing my tax return by myself. My amount due was nearly triple when H&R Block did my taxes. Oh, and if they mess up your taxes and your forms have to be mailed in that's completely on you. They won't even mail them for you. Bad service, and people who go to these places are hoping to take pressure/stress off of themselves in regards to d... read more
