I recently utilized this tax preparation service and was surprised by the final cost. A fee of $480 was charged for the service, which I perceived primarily involved just a data input. While I understand that professional services have associated costs, this fee seemed disproportionately high for the work completed. Consequently, based on this experience with the pricing structure, I do not plan to return for future tax services at h&r. By the way, my friend had the same experience.
Waste of you're time. Don't go there.
Do not use them for anything estate related one piece of bad advise after another, I called and left message that I was having trouble with CRA thye never returned my calls. They do not understand how to deal with a person that passed away, it was such an emotional time for me and all this bad advice leaves me with constant issues with my Mom's affairs. Says on their door drop off and walk in available but as soon as you enter inside they would say we dont take walk in just go to another HR block very unwelcoming poor costumer service.
