30 years using H&R Block and I am done. Booked appointment when I arrive they said they had no record of it. Said they would squeeze us in took my forms and partially did return said it would be done by 5 p.m. that day. Called and said wouldn’t be done and said I had to wait a week and a half to finish them and that was closest time they could see us. Front desk women told us to sit down twice while waiting on us to serve others before she helped us. This is not the service we used to get and I will not be back.

My taxes are pretty basic so I usually do them on-line without consulting anyone (have gotten pretty good refunds the last few years). This year however there were a few things I was unsure needed to be reported or not (bonus form work, insurance pay out, licencing fee, change in RRSPS's among them). I did an on-line application and brought it in to be looked over to make sure it was correct. The gentleman who helped me was really nice.
