Oops, I may have posted this review to another location. Copying here as this is the location I worked in: Service at this H&R Block has been great. Easy enough to get appointments, and staff is very knowledgeable. I specifically want to mention Mike Bjork, who helped us unravel two years of tax screw up with another preparer. Extremely detail oriented, responsive, and honest. Wish we'd met him years ago!
Make sure you answer your phone right away or else the receptionist will call your phone over and over even if you're sleeping and you're declining the calls because you're trying to sleep they will call you over and over until you answer the phone and then we'll be Unapologetic about it and tell you well I guess you should have answered the phone I was trying to call you and try to justify her rude actions and get slightly aggressive with you and then she will just hang up the phone on you. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE USE H&R HLOCK FOR YOUR TAXES THIS YEAR. Last year (for 2023 taxes) I paid them 270$ to do a simple tax return, the only reason I couldn’t do it is because I pulled money out of my Oregon saves and wasn’t sure how to file with my 10-99. Anyway, I paid them to do this in FEBRUARY and did not receive my return until MID JULY, and I have never got a straight answer as to why.
