Had an appointment with Phil. I walked in, phil introduced himself and we went to sit in his cubby. I told phil i’ve never been to a tax advisor at a company to help me with my taxes, and that i typically do it on my own. He asked why did I need help now. I stated i was confused with the no tax on overtime, as well as no tax on tips, and would need help. Tell me why they changed me $410 to do my simple tax return!? I only had one w-2 and 2 dependents, witch is less than the year before! The more you get back on your return, the more they charge you. I called them and she couldn't even explain why my fee was so large! Google said that they only charge that amount if you have self-employment income or rental income, which I don't have either of! They are ripping people off and no one is doing anything about it! I for one will never file my taxes with H&R Block ever again! They... read more
