Helpful quick consultation on a particular IRS form I was having trouble with. They offered me a reasonable $/hr consultation rate rather than forcing me to hire them to do my whole tax return. Shout out to Yvonne Hatfield for her help.
i went to HR Block to have taxes filed for two years. The tax preparer completed the paperwork. She printed the paperwork so i could take it home for my husband and I to review and sign electronically. Note: when I called to make an appointment, I asked what it will cost to do our taxes. I told them everything that needs to be done. They said around $250. When they did the taxes, they said that i owe $419 for one year and $374 for another one. I rarely review places--the only good part is at the bottom. I went in seeking guidance for my compliance office at my apartment complex. The lady at the front desk said "we aren't the IRS." Condescension isn't exactly a good start when someone is asking for help. The IRS for us "common peasants" isn't always easily navigable in terms of simplicity. My tax pro Bill Sneadker is the best at tax preparation and super organized and he is a excellent worker and is always on task and time.... I have only used him for the past 4 straight years and current as well and will do so always! I sure appreciate everything the company and my tax pro does.....
