I usually do my taxes online, but this year I needed an advance so I went into the store and had a “tax professional” help me. It was the worst thing I could’ve done. She had me come in on a Saturday so I was only approved for $250 (the minimum) and she could not tell me before I filed that it was going to be that amount. I have learned from other honest tax professionals that if it is after business hours you will only get the minimum, which I was not told that by the “tax professional” that helped me that day.
