I left H&R Block thinking I owed over $6K in taxes. I just filed with TurboTax, and I only owed $1200. I booked an appointment online two weeks in advance and when I arrived there was no evidence of my appointment in the system. I am a contractor and the women who helped me did not ask me for ANY deductions such as, "Did you pay rent in DC?", or "Did you buy anything for your business?".
