⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 Star) I came to Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital Emergency Room around 1:00 PM with painful symptoms needing urgent care. It’s now after 4:00 PM, and I’m still in the waiting area — no triage, no assessment, no communication whatsoever. To make matters worse, none of the staff I interacted with spoke English — in a public hospital in Canada, a country that is officially bilingual. I was already feeling sick and scared. oncology: you’re on your own, having to run after, appointments,blood test,medication. no info about life threatening side effects, pivot nurse completely indifferent, no follow up, very business like when contacted by her, no empathy
Ça fait 17heures maintenant que je suis aux urgences pour des douleurs à la poitrine. Plus de 30hrs que je suis réveillée. 4 hrs que j’attends les résultats de prise de sang (les premiers résultats d’ECG ont pris 10hrs) et je n’ai peut-être pas terminé les tests. Je sais que c’est long les urgences, mais ce n’est pas humain…
