We were very grateful for the care received in the emergency department for a loved one. The triage nurse was prompt, professional, and reassuring. Dr. Wael Badawy was exceptional: thorough assessment, great compassion, and above all, a treatment that finally provided real relief after several days of pain. Thank you for your professionalism and compassion.
For the most part I have had extremely positive experiences at Glengarry, especially last Friday when I was experiencing cardiac issues. Everyone I interacted with that day was efficient, professional and compassionate. That said (picking up on what some other commenters have said), a few years ago I encountered a triage nurse who projected a hostile attitude the moment I got there, for no apparent reason. I would imagine the gatekeeper position is not suited to every nursing professional.
I’ve pretty much always had a good experience at this hospital. Compared to many others, HGMH is a true gem in our region. Just was there yesterday and I can’t say enough about the amazing, caring, professional treatment I received. Even my own family provider wasn’t able to diagnose my problem - wasn’t until yesterday at HGMH that I got answers.
