I have never experienced so much racism at a hospital until I been here. Dr. Scharf failed to address my health needs during a mental health visit. After stating my needs, the only one who tended to me was a student nurse I am guessing who understood my frustrations. Drove there in -30 in a vulnerable state hoping for kindness and compassion, in turn ; after a mere 6 hours of wait time I was met with obvious judgement and arrogance. During the six hours I heard maybe 2 people called and waiting rooms were bare, no approximate wait times given upon arrival ,then 6 hours later your notified it can possibly take another 6 hours. Will never return , received much more genuine care and treatment at the animal hospital.
I'm the kind of person that stays away from hospitals at almost all cost but I went to the ER with symptoms that could not be ignored. I was seen fast, the nurses were very good, the doctor was great to, she took the time to explain without ever making us feel rushed. Thanks to the whole crew!
It's just good I go if I am sick
They sent me home with pain meds and antibiotics ended up going to Cornwall early the next day ended up being appendicitis and had to get surgery done.
